The £11 million Public Realm works in both Portadown and Lurgan has transformed the town centres helping to re-establish them as modern contemporary market towns whilst retaining their unique original character.
Shoppers can now enjoy high quality public space, new footpaths, enhanced street-lighting, new street furniture and trees.
The Council is committed to promoting our new improved town centres as places to visit, shop and enjoy.
Minister Nelson McCausland launched Phase 2 of Lurgan in September 2012. Work on the £1.2M scheme is underway. The phased construction will be done by McLaughlin and Harvey.
